Tours in Valencia > City of Arts and Sciences and Aquarium

The City of Arts and Sciences, an architectural complex by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, is a symbol of Valencia. The image of the attraction is known around the world. This unique complex, part of the top sightseeing spots in Valencia, opened in April 1998, and since then, it has inspired thousands of people from every country and culture.

What will we see? During our guided tour we will walk around the different buildings of this awarded complex:

– L´Hemisfèric: An impressive 13000 m2 IMAX cinema with the latest image and sound technology.

– The “Reina Sofía” Arts Palace: The building carries the name of the former Queen of Spain, and is the cradle of Valencian performing arts. During our walking tour we will learn more about the history of its four main concert halls: the Sala Principal, the Auditori, the Martín iSoler Theatre and the must-see Maestros’ Hall.

– Oceanogràfic: It is the largest aquarium in Europe.
